Service Square is 100% free to use. We do however accept donations that allow us to pay for operating costs. We do NOT offer tax-deductible receipts as we are not yet a registered nonprofit.
We are currently saving excess money to become a registered nonprofit in the US. The costs for this are as follows:
Form 1023-EZ Filing Fee: $275
Physical Business Address: Cost varies.
Please note that all donations by card do not have processing fees at the time of writing. However, this could change at any time. As we are not a registered business, your money is received by the founders directly. As a result, we must pay personal income tax on the amount received. For these reasons, your full contribution comes to approximately 85% of the amount donated to Service Square. Please be aware of this.
